Daruma
Last updated: March 2026
Daruma is built around a simple practice. This privacy policy is equally simple — your data stays yours.
Daruma does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or any personal details to use the app.
We use TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-preserving analytics. TelemetryDeck is designed to be GDPR-compliant and processes signals in a way that makes it impossible to identify individual users. No IP addresses or device identifiers are stored. You can learn more at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.
With your permission, Daruma writes mindfulness session data to Apple Health. This data never leaves your device and is never accessed by us. It is stored locally in the Health app under your control.
You can revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Daruma.
All app data — your Daruma progress, session history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. None of it is transmitted to our servers, because we do not operate any servers that store user data.
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. TelemetryDeck receives only anonymous, non-identifiable usage signals as described above.
Daruma is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make meaningful changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
